From Cricket Star to Cop: Mohammed Siraj Appointed DSP in Telangana

Cricketer Mohammed Siraj has officially taken charge as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana on October 11, 2024.

The appointment follows Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's announcement of Siraj's prestigious Group-I government post.

The government has allocated 600 sq yards of land at Jubilee Hills to Siraj as recognition for his achievements in cricket.

He was also part of the Indian team that secured the 2024 T20 World Cup and made history by bowling two maiden overs in the IPL in 2020.
